Buttercup and Westley in Need of Homes

Over the Fourth of July weekend, my husband answered the doorbell to find two girls dropping off 10-week-old kittens.

The good news: what a difference a few weeks can make. Buttercup and Westley are young enough that they have become social, fun cats. They both are big cuddle bunnies and like to purr, and they have shown interest in playing with cat toys.

They are scheduled at the Maryland SPCA clinic for spaying/neutering and their vaccinations, but appear right now to be in good health. They get along well, and a placement together would be great, but the No.1 priority is finding them a loving home. Bonus points if you get the reference for the kittens' names.

And...if you come to the Walter Rescue BBQ on July 24, there is a good chance you can meet them then. Yet one more incentive to come hang with us.
