Lewis is Adopted!

Good news, Walter Rescue fans - Lewis has been adopted! A wonderful family in Jarretsville, complete with a 5-year-old girl, came over on Friday. It was a great match - Lewis is now Kevin, and adjusting to his new home. We are thankful to the wonderful Kristen Allison for acting as a kitty matchmaker, and of course to the family who is giving Lewis/Kevin the love he deserves.

We are having a Walter Rescue fundraiser in February, so we will be picking our next dog to sponsor, which is very exciting. Megan, Justin and I will be picking and making an announcement on that soon.

Minou is making a lot of progress. His abscess is looking better and better, and I am hoping he can return to his outdoor shelter by the end of the month.
