Update on Westley and Buttercup (Chai and Pekoe)

We love it when we hear a ‘happy tail’ from those who have adopted from Walter Rescue. You may remember Westley (renamed from “Black Eye” and now Pekoe) and Buttercup (now Chai) from summer 2010, when a neighbor girl brought them to our doorstep. We recently got the following letter from adopter Laura:

“Chai and Pekoe are as playful and happy as ever. Chai (tabby-colored) is definitely the more fearless and dominant of the two, while Pekoe is docile, if not a bit timid, but definitely sweet and loving. I am blessed every minute of every day to be their Mom and have their companionship. Thank you so much for bringing them into my life. Here are a few pictures. Thank you for the holiday letter and for all you do for our furry friends.”
