Who Wants to Adopt a Cat or Dog?

Welcome to 2010! Meaghan reports that Walter had a wonderful Christmas break, complete with making a new dog friend. We can’t wait to see pictures!

Lewis the kitten is still in need of a home. He did pretty well with the pet sitter (we were gone for about 10 days) and definitely seems more social. Still, I haven’t had any leads on adoption, which is frustrating. You can see Lewis’ new Craig’s List ad here.

Meanwhile, Walter and Walter Rescue are all about helping fellow canine friends. Our friend Brian forwarded us a Craig’s List ad for a dog, Jane, in need of a home. It appears Jane was left out in the cold, chained to a fence, and a Good Samaritan took her to BARCS. She’s about a year, and a fascinating mix of lines of mutts.
