Walter's Sleepover

I’m not sure that Walter has spent much time on a bed. We took him for a walk last night, after which we allowed him up on the bed. He essentially did not move from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. this morning, which is pretty amazing for a 10-month-old puppy. Of course, his body is fighting an infection. We’re hoping that as he feels better he’ll feel a little more active. He just breaks my heart as we can see more clearly today that he is riddled with scars.

Justin is back at Timonium Animal Hospital this morning with adoption flyers for Walter and one of our cats, Minou (pictured here), who was already scheduled to go in for a well-kitty visit. Minou is an ancient neighborhood cat that we adopted a few years ago. Both Minou and Walter have had pretty tough lives - before we caught him and had him neutered, Minou was a big fighter around the neighborhood. We are hoping that Walter will get a happy ending similar to Minou’s!
