Walter's Bath

Last night Justin picked me up,and when I got in the car I said, “Whew, this car smells bad.” I turned around to see Walter, who looked a little insulted. I decided that at the point that you can smell the dog before you see him, it’s bath time.

Justin would take no part in this bath, but Walter was a really good sport. He did shiver and try to get out of the bath tub, but he was pretty stoic about staying still while I scrubbed him. Quite honestly, I’ve never seen that much dirt and debris coming off of a dog. Now post-bath he smells a million times better, and his coat looks quite shiny. His scars also seem to be healing.

Walter will be making a visit back to Sinai this afternoon, outside the Marketing Trailer, to say “thank you” to everyone who has helped him and supported Walter Rescue.
