Walter Rescue, Inc.

A number of folks have asked how they can help with Walter’s care.  Because Elizabeth and I seem to be rescuing animals more and more, we’ve decided to establish a non-profit, known as Walter Rescue.  Because we are still in process of filing our paperwork with the IRS, the IRS has made no determination of our non-profit status.  Of course, we expect they’ll approve our request, and their will be no problem, but there are, of course, no guarantees.  As a result, donations to Walter Rescue, Inc. may be deductible, but again, there is no guarantee.  Once they have issued their “determination letter” (the document many people consider to be an “exemption certificate” or “501(c) certificate”), any earlier donations will be retroactively deductible.
