Update on Meaghan

I talked to our good friends at the Maryland SPCA this afternoon about Meaghan the dog - there’s good news and bad news. No one has come forward to claim her, which is sad, but she’s in good health and has a great temperament so will be going up for adoption after she has been spayed. She appears to be a mix of a lab and beagle, with a lovely golden coat, so I am confident she will find a loving family. It was tough to tell originally whether Meaghan had been abandoned or lost - since she had a flea collar and chain around her neck we thought she may have just had that beagle instinct to roam from her house. But since no one has come to find her, and I found her out in the rain looking for food, it appears that her original owner just could not take care of her anymore. Here’s hoping she finds a wonderful family this holiday season!
