Good News and Bad News

First, the good news. We’ve found someone to watch Walter on Saturday night while we go to a D.C. wedding. Friends Holly and John and their dog Leslie have graciously agreed to watch Walter after Walter and Leslie met this afternoon. They played and romped and we are really relieved we don’t have to leave Walter alone for several hours. A big thank-you to Holly and John!

More good news: the antibiotics have cleared up Walter’s infection, and he got several needed shots today at the vet. But the bad news is that he’s still showing some signs of kidney disease, and is scheduled for more tests at Timonium Animal Hospital. He’s also going to be neutered there next week since he needs to stay on IV fluids during the surgery. Please keep your fingers crossed!
